Click here to download and listen to the homily (16 minutes) given by Fr Thomas Weise at St Rose of Lima Parish in Wrangell, Alaska. Pope Benedict XVI calls us to fall in love with Jesus. He recommended several practices to us at World Youth Day in Madrid, Spain. Reading the Bible, Praying the Rosary, Studying about the Faith, Attending Mass, Going to Confession, Visiting Jesus in his Real Presence in the Eucharist waiting for us in the Tabernacle. We can all start doing these every month, then every week, then daily, and as we grow in holiness the Church will be renewed.

Readings: Jeremiah 20:7-9; Psalm 63; Romans 12:1-2; Matthew 16:21-27
